Studio Dawani is thoughtfully built by real-life couple Gerard and Reyven. What started as a shared dream between two creatives has grown into a space where people from all walks of life can feel empowered, celebrated, and seen. At Studio Dawani, you take the shots — literally. With professional lighting and a fully self-operated system, we make it easy for anyone to create high-quality portraits on their own terms. As proud members of the LGBTQIA+ community, Gerard and Reyven envisioned a studio that isn’t just stylish and functional — but also safe, welcoming, and judgment-free. Whether you're celebrating a milestone or simply capturing your magic, we’re here to help you own every moment.

Gerard is the creative mind behind Studio Dawani’s unique self-shoot concept. With a deep love for photography that began when his father gifted him his first camera, Gerard dreamed of making photography accessible, empowering, and personal. He envisioned a studio where you become the photographer — free to express yourself without pressure or posing for someone else’s lens.
Reyven Gaveria

Co-Founder • Studio Experience Lead

Reyven brings the warmth, care, and organization that makes Studio Dawani feel like home. As the studio’s experience lead, he makes sure each session runs smoothly — from guiding clients through the self-shoot process to creating a space that’s comfortable, inclusive, and easy to enjoy. Reyven is especially passionate about keeping Studio Dawani a safe space for all, especially members of the LGBTQIA+ community. With him around, you’ll always feel welcomed, supported, and free to be yourself in front of the camera.

What is a self-shoot session?

You are your own photographer. We set up the lights and camera for you, then we'll give you a remote so you can take your own photos. The space is completely private, so no worries about awkward poses in front of a photographer.

Do you allow walk-ins?

Yes, but we can only accommodate you if there are no scheduled clients. It's still best if you book your self-shoot session to avoid long waits.

Is your studio pet-friendly?

Yup! We'd love to pet your furbabies here! Your first pet is free of charge. Just add P200 for every succeeding pet if you want to bring them all. Please take note that we require them to wear diapers but can take them off during the photo session. Any damages (peeing, pooing, biting) your pet may do is your responsibility.
